Some people say athletes do not give back to the community.  Some people say that we don’t care.  None of this is true!

I am Stephen Pierce.  I played football with the Cleveland Browns.  On behalf of The Stephen Pierce Foundation and other partnerships, I would like your help to sponsor community events that will make a positive impact on our youth.  To make this happen, I am looking for your support.  The Stephen Pierce Foundation has partnered with Tony and Alicia Gwynn Foundation (TAG) and Smokey Robinson Foundation.  Our foundations believe that we must touch the lives of students early to get them on the right path.  However, we need your help to make these events successful.

Your sponsorship dollars will go toward helping us host the following events: Celebrity Golf Tournament, show-stopping Drum line and Step Show, Classic Parade, and of course, the highly anticipated California Classic Challenge football game which will culminate the week’s activities.

The proceeds from The California Classic events will be used to provide college scholarships to financially underprivileged, inner-city students.  Many of these students have not been outside of their communities and have not been exposed to colleges outside of the state of California.  The California Classic events will bring the college experience to the community.  Our hope is that we can get more inner city students interested in a higher education by showing them that the college experience has multiple facets to it, in addition to a great education.  What better way to get students interested than by bringing the experience to their city?

By sponsoring these events, you will brand your company name with some of the most renowned athletes and celebrities.  You will also increase your visibility by supporting this nationally advertised event.

Please take some time to review the attached documents that will explain more about The California Classic Challenge.  The Stephen Pierce Foundation and your financial support are needed to make this happen.  You may contact The Stephen Pierce Foundation at (858) 205-3881.
